Set against the vibrant backdrop of Australia’s iconic Surfers Paradise, this exhilarating tale follows surfer teen Tracy final summer after high school. As she face the inevitable crossroads of adulthood her sun-soaked days take a dramatic turn with the arrival of Errol, an 18-year-old American.
Errol, who’s grown accustomed to a life of fleeting friendships due to his family’s constant moving, faces a new challenge. His father’s ambitious project threatens an untouched local surf beach, sparking tensions. Amidst cultural clashes and the quest for acceptance, Errol must navigate the complex dynamics of the local youth. Can his prowess on a surfboard win them over? With the aid of a charismatic Australian beach girl, he confronts his father’s plans, aiming to preserve the beloved surf haven.
Meanwhile, Tracy, a fiercely determined Australian surfer, embarks on a journey that takes her from the legendary waves of Bondi Beach to the prestigious surfing championships at Bells Beach, Victoria.
Her story intertwines with Errol’s when she travels to Waikiki, Hawaii, enhancing her skills and rekindling an old flame. Together, they head to the Malibu Classic in the USA, where Tracy’s resilience is tested. Armed with her magical, multi-colored wetsuit and a clever strategy, she challenges the status quo, competing against male surfers in a tournament where stakes and emotions run high.
